Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CheeekyPlay website and the games available on it (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.
1. About the Service
CheeekyPlay provides free casual games that run directly in your web browser. There is no account to create, no sign-up, and no payment of any kind. Every game is provided free of charge for your personal, non-commercial entertainment.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly direct the Service to, or collect personal data from, children under the age of 13. If you are under 18, please make sure you have permission from a parent or guardian before using the Service.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you agree that you will not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its servers, or any connected systems or networks;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service, for example through automated requests, scraping, or denial-of-service activity;
- copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the games, code, or content except as expressly permitted by these Terms;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any game except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- use the Service in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
4. Intellectual Property
All games, software, code, text, graphics, logos, and other content on the Service are owned by CheeekyPlay or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and play the games for your own non-commercial use. No other rights are granted.
5. Your Scores and Local Storage
Your high scores and game progress are saved using your browser's local storage on your own device. They are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. This means your scores are specific to the browser and device you used, and they may be lost if you clear your browsing data, switch browsers or devices, or use private browsing. We are not responsible for any loss of locally stored scores or progress.
6. Availability of the Service
We aim to keep the Service available and working, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may add, change, suspend, or remove games or features at any time without notice. The Service requires an active internet connection to load.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that any defects will be corrected. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CheeekyPlay will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we handle data and what is stored on your device. Please read them alongside these Terms.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or the law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always show the most recent version. Your continued use of the Service after any change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. EU Online Dispute Resolution and Consumer Redress
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union and we are unable to resolve a complaint with you directly, you may be entitled to refer the dispute to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body for an out-of-court settlement. The European Commission maintains an official directory of approved national ADR bodies, which you can access here:
European Commission — List of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) bodies
Please note that the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was permanently closed on 20 July 2025. The Consumer Redress portal linked above is the European Commission's current resource for finding a competent dispute resolution body. Using an ADR body is voluntary for both parties.
